Like most consultancies, we thought we’d be helping to shape how our clients’ businesses evolved. Turns out it was the other way round.
When Sequoia was founded in 1992, we set out to build something different—a consultancy that truly enabled Supply Chain professionals to become empowered decision makers – improving and optimising their function, rather than simply administering it; a job they could be proud of.
We wanted to create a company that genuinely cared about the people involved, earning deep trust by delivering real expertise and tailored solutions.
And we wanted it to be fun and enjoyable!

We started as a small, tight-knit group of passionate individuals, believing we could help shape our clients’ businesses. Thirty plus years later, we’re still a close-knit team, but in many ways, it’s our clients who have shaped us. By staying intentionally small, we remain agile, focused, and committed to listening—ensuring our Numerically Assisted Thinking® helps solve each company’s unique challenges.
